In 1938, Leons Restaurant opened and its concept was ahead of its time. Meat sourced from trusted farms, low GI and all natural foods all in a “fast-food” environment. Their online nutrition section show which of their items are gluten free (which appears to be over 80% of the menu) as well as those that are dairy-free, low-GI, vegetarian and vegan. What was most impressive was that it was quite affordable and a great spot to hit if you are watching your budget but still want quality food. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the service was really friendly and the staff seemed surprisingly educated on the ingredients they served.
Breakfast consist of mostly Egg Pots and Porridge Pots. These are egg dishes in a cup that have various ingredients. They were not very big, (most portions in Europe are not), but there was enough to leave you content.
A full breakfast with an Egg Pot, toast and hot chocolate (they use real dark chocolate). Approx.
